Partners are the key to the success of The Shabbos Project. They are volunteers on the ground, ensuring the project reaches as many people as possible.
Partners can be passionate individuals, established communal organisations or city mayors. Partners can host a meal for 20 people, distribute educational material or organise a challah bake for 20 000 women!
If you would like to help bring the magic of The Shabbos Project to your city, sign up to be a partner here and someone from our dedicated partner team will be in touch as soon as possible.

Hachnasat Orchim, welcoming guests, is at the core of Jewish spiritual practice. We see this clearly from the example set by Avraham Avinu (Abraham), who cuts short his dialogue with G-d Himself in order to see to the needs of three strangers that happen upon his tent. Avraham treats the guests like royalty, serving the finest food and drink, and involving his whole family in the mitzvah.
The Shabbos Project is your opportunity to join hundreds of thousands of families around the world in this special mitzvah; to offer those who may (or may not) be new to Shabbos a chance to experience the warmth of a Shabbat home, continuing the tradition set by our illustrious Forefather.
Please note that as a host, you will be allocated guest/s to contact and invite for meal/s and/or accommodation. If you sign up, you must be committed.
Shabbos Hosts are provided through Shabbat.com. For information please visit www.Shabbat.com
Thank you for volunteering as a coach. Your services are hugely appreciated and will help those less well-versed in the details of Shabbat observance find their feet. As a coach you will, of course, be assigned someone to guide on any aspect of Shabbos with which this person feels he/she needs help.
Please note that by signing up as a coach, you are committing to make yourself available, within reason, to helping prepare someone for his or her Shabbat observance, and to initiating contact with that person.
Shabbos Coaches are provided through Partners in Torah and its affiliate organizations. For information please visit www.partnersintorah.org
Do you have something to offer The Shabbos Project? Perhaps it is your time, your piano-playing skills, your printing factory or 200 folding tables? Ultimately, this is a social movement, and works best if everyone pulls together. Let us know what you have to offer and we will do our very best to connect you with a partner in your area that could use your help.
